Due to the attractions during Limanowa Hill-Climb Race – Ostra Mountain Pass that are flights by helicopter above the race route, we would like to inform you of an absolute ban on the use of drones within the race route by people who do not have eligibility issued by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority).
114 competitors are on Entry List published by the organizer of 10th Limanowa Hill-Climb Race – Ostra Mountain Pass (www.wysciggorski.pl ). On the route, which is 5493 m long, drivers from Poland, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, France, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Croatia will appear. Spectators cannot complain about the lack of impressions thanks to enormous speeds: there will be 17 bolides, including two Polish ones! Drivers who will compete in bolides are Adam Stopka (POL, Intech gxr 1000) and Paweł Rzadkosz (POL, Radical RS 3), and they will fight for points in 9th Round of FIA Eurpean Hill Climb Championship
10th Limanowa Hill Climb Race – Ostra Mountain Pass was presented to media, parliamentarians, representatives of local governments and services involved in the organization of the event on 17 July in Limanowa. Hill Climb races, in which not only cars with the roof but also bolides compete, require special protection of the route and an ideal road surface similar to the race tracks. For some years, the route of Limanowa race, from the start line in Stara Wieś to the finish line at Ostra Mountin Pass, has been protected by some special energy-consuming barriers that can protect also drivers of very low bolides in case of a collision.
There is only one month to the start of jubilee 10th Limanowa Hill Climb Race – the 9th Round of FIA EHC (FIA European Hill Climb Championship), 5th and 6th GSMP Round (Polish Hill Climb Championship). The bolides of the fastest European and Polish drivers will appear in the Low Beskid again.
